The Council offers an accounting ministry, in partnership with the Department of Mental Retardation, to members of the community who are mentally disabled and cannot otherwise manage their finances. The Council handles all aspects of the individual's bank accounts, from bill payments to deposits and savings. Through this ministry the Council offers peace of mind for individuals and families who are supporting a disabled loved one.

The Council supports three living facilities in the city of New Bedford. All three housing ministries offer safe, affordable housing to elderly and disabled members of the community.
Debra Kenney serves as Resident Services Coordinator at Brock Avenue Elderly Ministries.
Pamela Souza serves as Social Director at Melville Towers and Grinnell Mansion.

Hospital Chaplaincy
A Chaplaincy Ministry to St. Luke's Hospital and Tobey Hospital. This ministry provides comfort and spiritual healing to patients and staff of many faiths.

Under the leadership of the Executive Minister, the Council conducts ministries of ecumenical & interfaith relations and community witness. The Council communion of forty-five churches committed to spiritually centered ministry carried out by a diverse and inclusive leadership and staff.
